Alan went on to attend the Cleveland Institute of Art after being awarded a full four year National Scholarship. During this time, one of his paintings won a National Hallmark Award.
Upon graduation, he began work as the art director for an advertising agency in Detroit. Expansion of his fine arts collection was limited once he began his business career. For much of the past fifty years, the majority of his artwork has been assigned to storage, apart from numerous sketchbooks that Alan actively maintained, recording many of his life experiences and travels.
Now, after all these years, Alan’s collection of Oil paintings, Watercolors, Acrylics, Egg Temperas, Illustrations, Line Drawings and Portraits are once again seeing the light of day. Over the next months he will make available for sale selected pieces as he progressively builds his online gallery.
